How To Make Money Using The Internet ... Research, research, research

A lot of people teach those new to the Internet marketing arena that the best way to launch your career is to promote something that you are interested, be it your job of work, hobby or even a special talent.

This will get you off to a good start, they insist.

Actually, they are quite wrong and this is why so many, would be, Internet marketers fail within just a few months or even weeks.

You see, the thing is, although YOU may be interested in your chosen subject, it's simply no good building a super web site and promoting it for all you're worth if people don't buy what you're selling.

You can't earn a living running a web site that doesn't sell.

If you'd like to build a web site about your hobby, that's fair enough but if you'd like to earn money from sales with it, you'll need to use a different strategy.

The trick is to find out what people are buying and then start selling that. You may not like the product or service but, after it makes you large stacks of cash each day, you'll soon learn to live with it, I'm sure.

In order to find out what is popular at the moment, you'll need to do a little research. Firstly, visit ClickBank (www.clickbank.com) and see what's going on there.

ClickBank is an Internet service where people selling information and software over the Internet allow others to promote their business for a piece of the action. So, for example, if I am selling a home business course on 'How to produce your own eBook' I can let other people sell it from their web sites or wherever and they get to have say 50% of the takings.

If the price is 100 they get 50 and I get the other 50. It's just a way of shifting your product. Eventually, scores of people are selling your stuff all over the Internet.

ClickBank have tens of thousands of these so called 'Affiliate' schemes and anyone can join for free and start selling other people's wares while keeping some of the profit.

ClickBank allow you to view what is selling the best at the current time. It's THIS list that will guide you to know just what you should be making available from your own web site. After all, if the whole world are buying this type of product then why shouldn't they buy from you to?

More research is needed, however. You'll need to know more about what's going on before committing yourself to a web site that is going to work for you 24/7.

Firstly, how do you find out the top 10 selling information products? This is when you visit ClickBank and see. Choose one of the top 10, affiliate to it and build a web site to promote it. Some affiliate schemes make the web site for you whereby you just enter your details and affiliate number then upload it to your web space.

At the time of writing I was able to look at the popular listings: Business to business, Education, Publishing, New products, Promotion, Web design, Industrial, Reports, Home and family, Marketing, Money and employment, Computing and Internet, Fun and entertainment, Sports and recreation, society and culture and so on.

By clicking on any category ClickBank will list separate sub categories where they are listed in order of popularity and sales. Simply pick the one that suits you and start promoting. It is free to join and you can earn plenty.

Once you are up and running you'll need to promote your site to those that search for your subject. This is where 'keywords' come in to play.

You'll need to find which words people are typing into the search engines when they are looking for something. If you are selling publications on 'Ice cream' for example, you'll find that simply setting up Ice and Cream as keywords won't enable people to find your site over anybody else's who are also promoting the same thing as you.

To get people to your site you'll need to use Google's AdWords. By opening an account with Google AdWords you'll be able to insert your listing automatically on the customers search results page. There is a charge for this but it is based on how much you want to Pay Per Click. See www.google.com and click on 'Advertising Programmes' to visit the 'how to' pages.

To find out what people are typing into the search engines to find your product visit: www.overture.com and it will give the top keywords to use in Google AdWords.

Once in your account in Google, you simply bid on the words you want in your promotion. Careful selection will bring up your web site advertising high on the results page so that the customer will visit your site and buy your product.

You also need to join Google's AdSense programme whereby you have other people's advertising on your site. This way, all ads will be on the same subject as yours and you will be paid each time somebody clicks through on your page. So you earn money per click and also money for selling your affiliated product. Watch your account grow.

By researching the keywords used on a regular basis you can stay at the top of the results page list on the Google search engine site.

There are marketers earning thousands of pounds each week using this method. Once all is up and running you can start on your next web site with another top 10 affiliate programme.

Full details are on the ClickBank web site, the Google web site and, of course, Overture.com

This is yet another way to actually earn money by using the Internet.

Adapters Letting You Keep Your Creature Comforts In Any Country

Adapters are commonly used devices found anywhere from the home to industrial workstations. They take the form of electrical adapters, mechanical adapters and simple male-female adapters for wires etc.

Adapters are usually a kind of plug but can take a larger form like a transformer block. They allow a user to plug one device in one side and another in the other side and make them compatible. The most commonly found adapters are for electrical razors which usually terminate in a two pin plug, while most household sockets are three pin. The adapter simply has a two pin socket on one side and a three pin plug on the other. These types of adapter usually do not change the electrical current, they simple alter the shape of the plug, which is very helpful in foreign countries as most have their own shape of plugs and sockets.

Travel is one of the biggest areas of demand for adapters. The various countries of the world operate on different voltage power grids. Most western hemisphere countries use approximately 110 volt systems while most others use approximately 220 volts. When powering a low voltage electrical device from high voltage a converter will cut out the extra power, but this not suitable for anything electronic like a computer. For this and for going from low to high you need a transformer.

A dedicated traveller can acquire purpose built adapters that are expensive but have a female socket for multiple types of plug and interchangeable male plugs for use in various countries. These are incredibly useful for someone who travels a lot and uses a laptop computer or hairdryer etc.

Also a few countries use DC current instead of the more standard AC, which can damage electrical devices not built for it. Adapters for this can also be purchased for personal use or industrial use.

How To Find Free Sheet Music Fom Internet

We musicians are always looking for sheet music to play. New songs and hits are coming out everyday. Nonetheless, not everyone is blessed with the ability to play songs by ear. I know I don't, even after almost 20 years of playing the piano. I, like many musicians still rely heavily oh the sheet music.

When you hear the song that touches your heart, you almost instantly want to play it. Next you go online to search for the free sheet music, only to find that it's like finding a needle in a haystack. Most of the so called free sheet music websites require you to pay. Then, you decide that it is not possible to find the freebies online, you go ahead and purchase the sheet music. Later you notice that the sheet music is not accurate, or you are simply not happy with the arrangement! Are all these dj vu to you?

Despite what everyone told you, it is true that you can find free sheet music online. Yes, I mean, full version, downloadable, printable, high quality, no-cost sheet music of different genres, including pop, musicals, classical, jazz etc. Why pay for something that you can get it free? Here I will share with you two methods on how you can locate free sheet music from internet:

1. Search engine (SE): Search engines like Yahoo, MSN and Google are the most important tools that can help you to find free sheet music. The problem is, most people don't know how to effectively search for the information they need from the SE. Do you just enter 1 or 2 search terms and give up? Note that if your search term is too generic it may not yield good results. Don't believe? Try typing the term "sheet music" in Google, most of the results point you to paid site! So you have to be very specific with your search term. If I am looking for Kelly Clarkson sheet music, I would search for...

Kelly Clarkson sheet music
Kelly Clarkson free sheet music
Because of you sheet music
Kelly Clarkson because of you sheet music

I hope you get the picture. The more specific your search term is the higher chance that you can find the sheet music. Each search terms would usually give you thousands of listings. At times you have to go pass the first few pages to finally arrive at a website that offer free sheet music. It can be time consuming but I assure you that the result will be worthwhile.

2. Websites partners: With the method described above, you should be able to find few free sheet music websites. On the World Wide Web, websites with common themes are often linked to each other. When you land at a sheet music websites, look for links that says link page, link partners, Resource, Other websites, Other links. You should be able to find a list of website address which point to other sheet music websites.

3. Forums: Forums are great places where you meet like minded people, exchange opinions and seek for advices. There are literally hundreds thousands forums of different niche on the internet. If you are looking for sheet music, why not join some music forums? You will be surprised by the number of people out there who are friendly and helpful. Ive also noticed that many musicians post links to various sheet music sites on the forums. Do a search on these forums and you should be able to find those links.

4. Notation software: Notation software really makes finding sheet music easy as pie! There are excellent notation software in the market that do a very good job in transcribing the Midi files into sheet music. The whole process is very simple and easy. You open the Midi files with the software, and it instantly arranged it into sheet music format. The good news is that it is very easy to find Midi files of almost any song from the web. The software that I used and recommend are Midinotate Composer and Noteworthy Composer. You can download 30 day trial version from their website. Best of all, they have friendly and supportive forums for their users.

5. Guitar Tabs: this method is suitable if you are good in improvisation. Guitar tabs give you the lyrics and chords of a song. If you are very familiar with the melody and rhythm, the tab can come in handy. Try to play the chords while playing back the song on the radio. This should give you good feel on how to play the song.

Learn Piano Online

Many adults give up the idea of finding a program, course, or lessons to learn how to play piano online. They might be worried about not finding one that meets their needs, or they feel that there is no way they will be able to learn quickly or effectively over the computer.

In this day and age of the World Wide Web, where billions upon billions of pages can be surfed by anybody 24/7, one could find nearly a million references to learning about the keyboard, piano, and classical artists such as Beethoven online. This could also be another reason so many people give up their piano-playing dreams. They simply become overwhelmed with the millions of search-engine results and cannot find exactly what they are looking for.

The first aspect that someone seeking an Internet-based piano course should look for is quality. This might be time consuming and sometimes frustrating if you arent able to look at or review the products before you buy. In this case, one of the best avenues to take is to look at a site that reviews products to learn how to play piano online. Little do many Web shoppers know that these sites review and compare products in an unbiased manner. These sites do all the comparing, analyzing, and reviewing before you buy.

The next step when searching through the multitude of online piano material is to create a list of what you are looking for and ways you enjoy learning. After you have seen what products, lessons, and courses are available online, whether they are online piano e-books, software, games, virtual teachers, videos, audio, or other methods, youll be able to evaluate the selection with your own personal criteria. If you dont want to read an e-book, then you might look at sites that offer video lessons of how to learn piano online.

The third step is to ask yourself: does this program or package offer all that I want, at a price I can pay? Be skeptical if a website claims youll learn how to play the piano overnight. Evaluate different websites that offer a variety of materials and meet your overall budget. Again, consulting a website that reviews all the important factors will save you a lot of time, hassle, and money.

Finally, once you have found the perfect online piano program and carefully analyzed what it offers, you will be ready to make your final purchase in confidence. After you have made your purchase, give yourself time to get used to the new software, e-book, or video. If the product suggest that you practice 15 to 30 minutes each night, then be sure to stick to that program to gain all the benefits and rewards that come through learning piano online.

Spicing Up Your Blog with 3D Animated YouTube Playlists

People have blogs for different purposes, some people maintain a blog purely for commercial reasons, and other people keep blogs strictly as a hobby. Blogs serve people in various ways and means and ultimately the aim is to provide the audiences reading these blogs with as much content and information as possible. Usually such information is written but sometimes a little something extra and visual is appreciated. We're not talking in the sense of pictures but rather video and movie type content that is becoming increasingly popular these days.

Strictly speaking there are a limited number of videos that we can afford to upload on most standard hosting packages and websites. If you really want to show your users video content then maybe you should consider YouTube videos as an option. You can find a whole number of videos on YouTube or you can upload your personal videos as well. Certain websites offer you the capability of creating playlists of your favorite videos and listing them on your blog. It's almost similar to the way you use other codes to display MP3 songs on something like your MySpace profile but in this case you're using codes to display YouTube videos on your blog.

YouTube video codes are a great way of displaying great content to visitors of your blog without going through the stress of having to upload videos on your own server. There's no limit to the number of videos you can use in your video playlist. If your blog is about rap music for instance you can use the video codes to display a playlist for some of the videos of the latest rap music available on YouTube.

You can think of other imaginative ways of using YouTube video codes as well and it all depends on how creative your mind can get. If you run a blog that offers advice to people, maybe a blog that shows people how to make stuff or do some DIY project or the other, YouTube video codes and YouTube playlists make it all the more fun. Rather than having boring graphic descriptions, followed by a whole lot of words describing a very simple process, you can simply upload your videos to YouTube and create a YouTube playlist. Using video codes you can now give your users access to your playlist of videos through your blog.

Of course you don't necessarily have to do all the hardwork yourself, a number of websites out there will provide you with the content that you need. Some people have content that is freely available for redistribution and viewing on YouTube, you can also use websites like YouTube-Video-Codes.com to create playlists of other people's content that can be found on YouTube.

Where the Unknown Music Roams - Expand Your Music Library

You've heard all your favorite music and artists on your local radio station. You've tuned in while hoping to hear something new and exciting. Unfortunately, the radio stations usually play the same tunes over and over. This causes other musicians to get left out in the cold. You may never hear of many fabulous rock singers, R and B artists, jazz professionals and Gospel greats if you only listen to what your radio station has to offer. Here are some tips to show you how to expand your music library with great songs you've probably never heard before.

Where Did The Music Go?

If hundreds of singing groups and musicians submit their songs to producers each year, but only a few get chosen, then where do all these amazing musicians go? Where and how are their songs being heard? Do they just give up? In the past, many of them would likely quit playing or singing all together once they were rejected in the mainstream music industry. But nowadays, a new avenue of getting their sensational music to the public has arisen; it's called the World Wide Web!

There are now thousands of hip songs available online today that will probably never make it to the radio stations. The artists' names will probably never be mentioned in the mainstream music industry. But, that doesn't mean the songs are cheesy or that the artists have bad singing voices. It simply means they didn't get chosen to be in the top music charts. Their music might be wonderful, but was overlooked or got lost in the crowd of other musicians and bands.

A Variety of Music

This happening isn't limited to only one certain type of music or musician. Almost any type of music can fall victim to getting tossed in the "rejection" pile. This includes jazz, Latin, pop, R and B, hip hop, reggae, rock, folk, comedy, Gospel, blues, techno, spoken word, rap, etc.

No matter what your taste in music, there are probably thousands of artists who never made it in the big-time that you would enjoy listening to their music. Your music library can grow with great music CDs from these singers so you can listen to many different songs whenever you want instead of being limited to the over-played music on the radio.

Music on the Web

There are specialty websites online that focus on publicizing music and artists that have never been heard before. You can go online to listen to unique sample music, buy CDs, and buy merchandise. These artists are great even though they never made it big. You can usually try their music before you buy it to be certain it is right for you. So, there's nothing to lose, but lots of amazing music to gain.

Music for Your Business

If you own a business where music is played often, you can also play some "unknown" music over the loud speaker for others to hear. Your customers will be amazed at all the distinct songs they hear in your store. You'll be the talk of the town!

Whether it's rock, jazz or hip hop you enjoy, or if it's Gospel, country, folk, or some other type of music, you can expand your music library in no time with many great tunes that never made it to the top!

How To Play A One Octave MIDI Pedal Board

Arranger keyboards such as the Yamaha Tyros 2 and the Korg PA800 are becoming extremely popular since the massive decline in electric organ sales. These arranger keyboards provide automatic bass lines, which is fine if you are playing basic triad and seventh chords. With a MIDI pedal board you can divert the bass note in the auto chord system to the bass pedal note you want and still keep the rhythmic effect or you can play your own bass line with no auto features added at all.

All exercises in this article should be practised on a one octave pedal board and you should be sat down at a keyboard with the MIDI pedal board placed directly underneath the keyboard. The pedal board should be placed so that top C on the pedal board is level with Middle C on the keyboard. Depending on the length of your legs, you can make small adjustment to the placement of the pedal board to suit. You should be able to play bottom C and top C with out any discomfort.

So here are the five top tips to help you to play the bass pedals.

1 Line your left leg up with G on the pedal board. You can then use your leg below the knee to swing to the left of G and play bottom C then swing all the way back up to play Top C. Try to keep the top part of your leg, above the knee, still.

2 When playing the bass pedal with your left foot, keep your leg still and use your ankle to make the pressing motion.

3 Play slowly, on the pedal board, C major scale, C minor scale and a chromatic scale starting with bottom C. Play these scales up and down and repeat ten times.

4 Play this sequence of notes on the pedal board starting with bottom C. C, D, E, F, D, E, F, G, E, F, G, A, F, G, A, B, G, A, B, G, C. Repeat ten times.

5 Play a chromatic scale on the pedal board with left hand chords. Starting with bottom C, play chromatically up to top C and back down again. Repeat ten times.

The important thing to remember when practising the above bass pedal exercises is to play the bass pedals slowly and stay acurate. If you play to fast to start with, you will learn to play the bass pedals wrong. If you start slow and accurate, speed will come later but you must be patient.

If you practice the above exercises every day for six months, you will be playing the bass pedals like a pro.

Make Money Selling Ebooks with CBMall

Information is one of the biggest reasons people surf the internet. Finding out how to lose weight, how to meet that special someone, how to work for yourself and fire your boss...the topics go on and on. Amongst the sites that deal with topics like this are an ever-growing collection of eBooks. eBooks are a great item to sell, as there are no printing or shipping costs. All you need is the website from which to sell eBooks.

CBMall takes care of the website for you. All you need to do is promote ebooks that are sold through CBMall, and you receive a commission on all sales through your mall. The "CB" in CBMall refers to Clickbank, which is one of the largest repositories for eBooks on the internet. CBMall takes the most popular, best selling eBooks from Clickbank and makes them available in an easy to use website that functions like an online shopping center, or "e-mall".

I purchased a CBMall back in 2005. With your purchase, you receive your own link that gives you commissions on all sales made from people who click your link. You do not need a website, which greatly reduces the amount of investment you need to make. Your CBMall account gives you access to a knowledge base of how to get started with promoting your CBMall and even offers some words of encouragement from Jeff Mulligan, creator of CBMall.

Jeff has created a great mini course on CBMall and how you can use this to develop your own online business. The course is free to take and it is a great way to check out CBMall without spending any money at all.

I have been impressed with the ease of use of CBMall, and its various features. There aren't any hidden surprise charges that come up after you buy it. The only other investment you can (and should) make is in promoting your CBMall link, since that is the way you make money through CBMall. The good news is, Jeff offers you a good amount of information on how to market and promote your CBMall. The great news is you are not forced to buy loads of software or sign up for any hosting or long term monthly service agreement.

I've promoted my CBMall through some Pay Per Click ads on Google and MIVA, as well as some Ezine ads. I've sold several products through CBMall and have built up a considerable amount of subscribers to Jeff's CBMall mini course. I will be paid commissions if any of the subscribers under my name purchase CBMall. There is some sample promotional copy for CBMall available through the site, just keep in mind you'll probably want to use your own as a lot of people will probably use the standard stuff.

CBMall gets an A+ with a big gold star. This is a great tool - just remember, you'll need to spend time and some money to get it to work for you (just like any worthwhile business venture.)

Find out about more about CBMall here http://theebookstar.com/cbmall
